Meghan has been absolutely wonderful to work with while planning such an important and personal occasion at Hotel Domestique. She has been consistently kind, responsive, patient, and genuinely helpful through every question and detail. She never made me feel like I was asking too much, and her thoughtful communication made the entire process feel much less stressful. It is clear that Meghan truly cares about guests and goes above and beyond to create a positive experience. Hotel Domestique is very lucky to have her, and I hope her management knows how much she is appreciated!
My wife and I have been blessed as we have been able to travel the world and the countless online reviews people have left helped us immensely each time in selecting hotels, restaurants, and attractions that made our trips amazing. For that reason, when we have exceptional (or horrible) experiences, I feel compelled to share our experiences to help others. Which leads me to our recent stay at Hotel Domestique, our son’s wedding, and the 5-star review that Hotel Domestique and its’ staff earned this past weekend. My wife and I agreed to pay for our son’s wedding, including the venue and everything associated with it. His bride selected Hotel Domestique, which at first, I was skeptical of because there are so many great venues near our home in Atlanta. However, now that the wedding is over, I must profess that it was a fabulous choice. The hotel, rooms, and setting were amazing. Simply put, Hotel Domestique is “Heaven on Earth” in all regards. This past weekend, when the actual wedding event occurred, there were torrential rain/storms off and on the entire weekend. However, the hotel staff and wedding planning team were superhero’s because they worked closely with everyone to ensure that the Bride’s & Groom’s “day” was perfect, regardless of weather. In my opinion, if anyone is looking for a wedding venue near Greenville SC, there is only one choice, and that is Hotel Domestique. Thanks to the entire staff for making our son’s wedding so great!!!
We loved everything about this hotel! Felt like we were special guests in a fabulous French Villa. Comfortable rooms, so many extra details (fresh flowers, coffee bar, water and snacks available) Restaurant 17 gets five stars across the board. Such a treat breakfast included. Many fun hiking trails nearby and of course great bike routes. Loved the salt water private pool. I could go on. Best part the people working there. Took great care of us. Well done, we hope to return soon!
Absolutely recommend! Alex and his team were unbelievably attentive and hospitable. This hotel is beautiful, but the staff is truly the reason I would return. The restaurant has a unique menu, the room was very clean, the turn down service was a nice touch. We did not realize breakfast was included but was a nice surprise and delicious. The afternoon drinks and small plates on the veranda were superb and Anneliese went above and beyond during this in between brunch and dinner time to make sure we didn't go thirsty nor hungry while relaxing. A nice weekend get away from Charlotte without having to fly to Europe.
